New American Express Centurion Lounge Opens at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in September

In September 2023, the world's largest Centurion Lounge will open its doors at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Located in Concourse E, between the domestic and international terminals, this luxurious lounge is set to become a popular destination for travellers.

The new lounge, spanning 26,000 square feet, will be larger than the combined sizes of the Centurion Lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA). It will offer a modern design inspired by Atlanta's landscape and architecture, providing a unique and welcoming atmosphere for passengers.

Access to the Centurion Lounge is limited to those who have the Platinum Card from American Express, The Business Platinum Card from American Express, or the Centurion Card from American Express. Eligible Amex cardholders flying through Atlanta previously had multiple lounge options, including Delta Sky Clubs, but those spaces can get very busy.

The Centurion Lounge at ATL will feature a modern bourbon bar and buffet dining options reflecting local cuisine. A new addition to the Centurion Lounge network, the bourbon bar promises to offer a taste of the South. The buffet dining options will showcase Atlanta's culinary delights, making the lounge an exciting destination for food lovers.

In addition to the bourbon bar and local cuisine, the lounge will offer standard amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, shower suites, private workspaces, and multiple outdoor areas. The outdoor spaces include a garden terrace with tarmac views, providing a perfect spot to unwind during layovers.

The lounge will be easily accessible through the airport's "Plane Train" system, making it easy to visit before or in between flights, regardless of the flight's concourse location. Those who hold either the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card or the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business American Express Card can enter Centurion Lounges if they are flying on a same-day flight with Delta.

Additional amenities for the Centurion Lounge at ATL will be announced closer to the lounge's opening date. With its size, design, and amenities, the new American Express Centurion Lounge is set to redefine airport lounges and offer a unique and memorable experience for travellers passing through Atlanta.
