Medieval Adventure for Primary School Children Coming to Burgruine Volmarstein

On August 10th at 2 PM, a medieval-themed event for primary school-aged children will take place at the Burgruine Volmarstein. This exciting event, organised by Stadtmarketing für Wetter and guide Markus Liffers, promises a day full of activities designed to test the children's courage and skill.

The event at Burgruine Volmarstein lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours and features a variety of activities such as swordplay, challenges on the "Balken der Ehre", and a guided tour. Accompanying adults can find seating on the premises and are welcome to bring their own blankets.

Learning about the legends and tales of Burg Volmarstein is also part of the experience. Interactive workshops such as medieval crafts, storytelling, or historical games are likely to be included, as well as demonstrations of medieval life including weaponry, armor, or cooking. A closing event or certificate for participants might be the cherry on top of this medieval experience.

However, since no specific information was found about the exact additional activities and the registration process beyond August 7th, we recommend checking Burgruine Volmarstein’s official website or local tourism pages. Contacting the event organizers directly via phone or email is also a good option, as their contact details are often listed on municipality or cultural sites. Visiting community bulletin boards or social media channels related to local cultural events may also provide useful information.

Registration for the event is mandatory and must be done before the deadline on Thursday, August 7th. The participation fee for the event is 13 euros per child, including one accompanying adult. A discount of 2 euros is offered for participants dressed in medieval attire.

Please note that the activities are designed to test the children's courage and skill, and the event may not be entirely suitable for young children. Prior registration with Stadtmarketing für Wetter is mandatory for the event, and registration can be made by phone at Tel. 02335 802092 or via email at [email protected].

For more information, including dates and details, visit the website www.stadtmarketing-wetter.de. GRAL is providing support for the event. Participants should bring stamina, something to drink, and sturdy footwear to fully enjoy this medieval adventure.

Participants can expect workshops on medieval crafts, storytelling, and historical games, as well as demonstrations of medieval life, during the medieval-themed event at Burgruine Volmarstein for primary school-aged children. The travel back to medieval times doesn't just include activities, but also learning about legends and tales of the fortress, making it an exciting part of their lifestyle.
