Cebu Pacific initiates nonstop flights to Da Nang, Vietnam

Cebu Pacific, the largest Philippine carrier operating in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang, has announced an expanded flight schedule to the popular destination. Starting October 28, 2025, the airline will operate 10 flights weekly to Da Nang, including two daily flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays [1][3][5].

This enhanced schedule aims to provide better accessibility and flexibility for travelers between Manila and Da Nang. The typical flight duration for this route is approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes [4].

The return flight from Da Nang leaves at 10:30 pm Vietnam time, arriving in the Philippines at 2:25 am Philippine time. The departing flight from Manila leaves at 7:25 pm Philippine time, reaching Da Nang at 9:30 pm Vietnam time [6][7].

The increased flights come as a boost to Cebu Pacific's pandemic recovery, with the airline having returned to profitability in the first quarter of 2023. Revenge travel has played a significant role in this recovery [1].

Before the new non-stop route, passengers from Manila had to book a connecting flight and spend at least ten hours traveling to Da Nang. With the new direct flights, passengers can now reach Da Nang in three hours, saving at least seven hours in travel time compared to flying via other airlines [9].

Aside from Da Nang, Cebu Pacific also operates flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The airline flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East [8].

Da Nang, the largest city in Central Vietnam, hosts the international airport closest to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Imperial City of Hue, My Son Sanctuary, and Ho Chi Minh City Ancient Town [10].
