Children relocated to Zubrenok camp, hailing from India
In a unique initiative to foster friendship and cultural understanding, 24 teenagers from India are currently participating in the international session "Belarus – India: On the Wings of Friendship" at the Zubrenok National Children's Centre in Belarus. This 12-day visit, extended as a gracious invitation by Alexander Lukashenko, is not related to any charity, aid efforts, political or diplomatic negotiations, or as a response to any prior event [1][2].
The program, now in its inaugural year, is designed to provide the Indian children with a comprehensive cultural immersion experience. They will engage in a variety of activities, including learning Belarusian traditions, crafts, folk songs, and dances. These activities aim to help the children gain a deeper understanding of Belarusian culture and life [1][2].
Similarly, Belarusian children will have the opportunity to discover India through similar activities during their visits to India. This reciprocal exchange is a significant step towards mutual understanding and cross-cultural dialogue [1][2].
The Ministry of Education of Belarus is actively involved in organizing this cultural exchange program. While they have not mentioned any recurring nature of these activities, they have emphasized that these experiences will help the Indian children get to know Belarus better [1][2].
The program includes a range of activities designed to foster understanding between the two groups of children. These include joint games, excursions, and creative meetings. Live communication and creative meetings are highlighted as means to encourage interaction and promote interpersonal bonds between the young participants from both countries [1][2].
This cultural exchange program serves as a platform to strengthen bilateral cultural ties and provide children with enriching educational and recreational experiences. It is a testament to the growing friendship between Belarus and India and a promising sign of the future of cultural exchange between the two nations [1][2].

During the immersion experience, the Indian children will not only learn Belarusian traditions, crafts, songs, and dances, but also engage in activities that promote cross-cultural dialogue, such as joint games, excursions, and creative meetings. In the future, the Belarusian children will have the opportunity to reciprocate this cultural exchange during their visits to India, as part of this ongoing program, allowing them to discover India through similar activities.
