Kerb 2025: A Five-Day Celebration of Music, Rides, and Family Fun in Rüsselsheim
Get ready for an unforgettable five-day extravaganza as Kerb 2025 takes over Rüsselsheim from August 15 to 19. This year's event promises a diverse mix of entertainment suitable for all ages, with traditional festivities, live music, family fun, rides, and a grand fireworks display to conclude the festivities.
The Program
Kerb 2025 kicks off on Friday, August 15, with a traditional opening ceremony featuring beer tapping accompanied by the IKS BigBand. In the evening, musical entertainment continues with the Degenhardt Club Band.
Saturday sees the lost and found auction at 2:00 PM, followed by live music by the band TSCHAU Johnny in the evening.
Sunday offers a new "Open Stage" format showcasing emerging artists in the afternoon, with Funk4You bringing the mood to a climax in the evening.
On Monday, the day begins with a breakfast performance by "The Seven Citizens of Saxony," followed by Luca D’Acri's solo performance at 3:00 PM, and the country-linedance band "Louisiana on Tour" in the evening.
Tuesday, designated as family day, offers reduced prices and activities for children, including a participatory concert with Oliver Mager, face painting, and balloon modeling. The music duo "Dire Woolves" will provide an atmospheric finale, and the event will conclude with a brilliant fireworks display.
Rides and Entertainment
The festival offers 27 amusement rides, including a giant Ferris wheel (Riesenrad), the new "Pool Party," and the family coaster "Ring Renner." For children, there is the "Dreamland-Express" miniature train. Classic game booths such as tin can throwing and fishing for prizes are also present.
The Kerbetreff on the market square serves as a central venue for concerts, auctions, and children’s programs throughout the event. Other highlights at the funfair include "Break Dance" and the "American Dream Disco Scooter."
Participating Venues
Hotels and the cultural center "Das Rind" participate with various actions in the event, ensuring a lively and vibrant atmosphere throughout the city. The funfair on the Main landing stage offers 13 rides, while the event's program includes new games and attractions.
