GWM Malaysia Sets Record with Giant Wau Pulled by TANK 300
GWM Malaysia has set a new record with its 'Geng Wakil Malaysia' campaign, culminating in a unique feat involving a giant wau and a GWM TANK 300. The campaign, a collaboration between GWM and MBCS, celebrated Malaysia Day and paid tribute to the country's rich culture.
The final chapter of the campaign, 'Geng Warisan Malaysia', saw a GWM TANK 300 power a 10-foot wau into the sky. This remarkable achievement was officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the Largest Airborne Wau Pulled by a Four-Wheel Drive. The campaign connected GWM models with Malaysian passion points, including the traditional wau, reflecting the resilience of both the vehicles and the Malaysian spirit.
Eddy Nazarullah, Creative Director at MBCS, praised the campaign for its meaningful purpose and historic record. He highlighted the GWM TANK 300's resilience in achieving this feat. Lim Ee Lenn, Marketing Director of GWM Malaysia, echoed these sentiments, noting that the wau represents Malaysian heritage and the GWM TANK 300's strength was showcased in lifting it into the sky.
