Hong Kong is abuzz with activity as the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day 'golden week' holidays overlap, with over 454,778 cross-border trips made in just two days. Visitors are drawn to traditional performances like the 'Fire Dragon Dance' in Tai Hang, while also enjoying modern attractions such as discounted movie tickets and free transport rides.

The 'Fire Dragon Dance', a highlight of the Mid-Autumn Festival, is set to captivate audiences for three nights from Sunday to Tuesday. This ancient ritual features a colossal 67-metre dragon crafted from rattan, rope, and over 10,000 burning incense sticks. The dance is organized by the local community of Tai Hang, involving over 300 performers who parade the fiery beast through the streets.

Rose Zhang, a visitor from Zhejiang province, is among the many enthusiasts planning to watch the spectacle on Sunday evening. The dance is generating excitement on social media, with visitors also heading to the horse races and taking advantage of holiday discounts.
