Lüneburg's Digital App Expands with Art Tours and 'Big Beautiful Buildings'
Lüneburg's 'Lüneburg digital erleben' app, now available on the app store, has expanded its offerings, now including tours of the city's artworks and 'Big Beautiful Buildings'. This year's visit showcased new attractions, drawing delegations from partner cities, including Dortmund, on 19th September 2025.
The 'WIR in Lüneburg' team organised tours of the new city library and museum garden using the app. A highlight was the city tour itself, 'Lüneburg digital erleben', developed by Stadt Lüneburg. Mayor Jürgen Kleine-Frauns expressed hope that the app, available on the app store, would engage both tourists and locals alike, offering digital tours for those unable to visit in person.
