Mönchengladbach: Three Major Roadworks to Disrupt Traffic in Coming Weeks
Mönchengladbach residents should expect some road disruptions in the coming weeks. The city has announced three new roadworks, with one already underway and two starting soon.
The first disruption is taking place on Stadtwaldstraße / BAB AS RY. Road construction has been ongoing since 02.07.19, with lane changes regulated by a construction traffic light. This is expected to continue until further notice.
Starting from 31.07.19, Stockholtweg at the corner of Färberstraße will see road construction works. This will result in a narrowing from two lanes to one. Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
Additionally, Alsstraße from Zeppelinstraße No. 166 has cable laying works underway since 12.07.19. A width restriction is currently in place due to these works.
For the latest information on road closures and diversions in Mönchengladbach, residents are advised to contact the city administration or the local road traffic authority. These roadworks are expected to cause some disruption to traffic flow, so motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly.
