NEUE ArT - The Art Fair Returns to Dresden with 100+ Artists and Live Performances
From September 26 to 28, 2025, 'NEUE ArT - The Art Fair' returns to MESSE DRESDEN for its ninth edition. This event promises a vibrant showcase of contemporary art, with over 100 artists, galleries, and projects participating. Admission is 10 EUR for a day ticket, 8 EUR for reduced tickets, and free for children under 14.
The fair offers a unique opportunity for personal conversations with exhibitors, set within an industrial atmosphere. Artworks will be available for purchase, making the event accessible for both art enthusiasts and collectors. Opening hours are flexible, with late openings on Friday and varied timings across the weekend.
Misato Takakura and the collective 211 will perform and create live art during the event, adding a dynamic element to the fair. The 'Mix & Match' format, curated by Erika Richter, will engage students from HfBK Dresden in creative dialogue and experiments. Richter, an active artist in Germany, has participated in various art commissions and exhibitions, including those in Dresden and Chemnitz. The fair aims to strengthen Dresden's creative profile and foster regional talent, as seen in the participation of 15-year-old Finja Quauke.
